By road-

Ajmiriganj Upazila Parishad is located at a distance of about 150 km from Dhaka on the Dhaka-Sylhet National Highway on the way to the Habiganj-Sylhet Regional Highway from the Sayadabad bus stand.

Ajmiriganj Upazila Parishad is located at a distance of about 60 km from Habiganj to Habiganj Regional Highway.

By river-

Passengers and goods can be transported by sea in Sylhet and Bhairab in Ajmiriganj upazila by Kalni-Kushiyara river.
